Fred falls prey to a scam when two men persuade him to launch a phony sales promotion for "Sanford & Son," offering a grand prize of $500. Although Fred plans to keep the cash for himself, he’s unaware that the con artists have manipulated the game to ensure they emerge as the winners. In the end, Fred is left on the hook to pay them the prize money after all.
