Episode Overview

"Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain." An aging physician finds himself confronted by a woman with a troubling dilemma. Her husband is critically ill, and she is expecting a child from another man. If her husband passes away, she intends to raise the baby, but if he survives, she plans to terminate the pregnancy. The woman seeks the doctor’s candid assessment of her husband's prognosis, but he wrestles with the moral implications of her request. Should he have the authority to determine the fate of another's life?
