Episode Overview

On his commute home from work, a businessman notices a cat that has been struck by a car, lying motionless in the street. He gently moves it to the sidewalk, but it's evident that the poor creature is gone. After digging a small grave, he buries the cat and returns home. Later that evening, as he unwinds in his living room, he suddenly hears the faint sound of a kitten mewing.
