Episode Overview

Erik Dorf expresses his frustration to fellow SS officials about the inefficiency in the execution of Jewish prisoners. He issues a directive for Zyklon B, a deadly gas, to be used at Auschwitz and other concentration camps. Meanwhile, Inga pleads with Müller to turn her in, hoping to be transferred to Karl at Theresienstadt. Felscher sells four secret sketches created by himself, Frey, and Karl that illustrate the horrific realities of life in Theresienstadt to a Czech gendarme, which eventually comes to the attention of the SS. The three men are summoned for interrogation and face brutal torture. Karl endures and is ultimately sent to Auschwitz.
