Episode Overview
Team Viking embarks on another mission in Fontaine, but soon finds themselves under intense enemy fire. McKay returns to the landing zone to extract them, but is met with missile attacks and is forced to retreat without Taylor, Ruiz, and Private Woznaik. The trio tries to navigate their way back to safety alone. McKay makes a risky move to locate his missing team, falling into a trap set by the VC and narrowly escaping death, thanks to Taylor's heroic use of a smoke grenade that helps the helicopter pilot return. Tragically, Wozniak succumbs to a snake bite, leaving Taylor and Ruiz stranded. As time goes on, they are joined by two new soldiers, including the seasoned PFC Thomas "Pop" Scarlett, who brings a veteran’s wisdom to the battlefield.
