Episode Overview
After Immortal Ceirdwyn and her human husband are murdered by a gang, she taps into her ancient Celtic warrior skills to seek vengeance against them one by one. At the racetrack, MacLeod witnesses Richie's racing triumphs and strikes up a friendship with a young pickpocket, the sibling of one of the gang members, who reveals the tragic events. Having known Ceirdwyn since their days smuggling Bonnie Prince Charlie out of Scotland in 1746, MacLeod feels compelled to intervene and remind her that revenge isn’t the solution—a lesson she once imparted to him after Culloden. In turn, Ceirdwyn helps MacLeod understand that while loving a mortal can be perilous, it’s ultimately the mortal's choice to embrace that risk. Meanwhile, Richie faces a fiery crash during a race that also claims the life of champion Basil.
