Episode Overview

After a priceless DaVinci sketch is stolen during a heist that results in the deaths of two guards, MacLeod steps in to negotiate its ransom. He soon learns that the thief is Kagan, an Immortal he once encountered when Kagan was a bank robber in 1930s Paris, where MacLeod had killed his mentor. Meanwhile, Maurice seeks MacLeod's help with his troubled niece, Simone, who turns out to be Kagan's accomplice and a prostitute. As MacLeod confronts Kagan, who claims he’s innocent and wants to reform, tragedy strikes when Simone is killed. This leads MacLeod to realize that Kagan is beyond redemption, resulting in a dramatic showdown where MacLeod takes Kagan's life.
