Episode Overview

Trauma surgeon Anne Lindsey rushes to assist after a subway station explosion, but when a second blast occurs, she finds herself trapped. Meanwhile, MacLeod is reminded of his past in WWII London, where he and his beloved reporter Diane Terrin were stuck in a bombed air-raid shelter during the Blitz, with dwindling time and oxygen. Driven by his memories, MacLeod is determined to save Anne, fearing the anguish of losing her just as he lost Diane.
