Episode Overview

In 1755, MacLeod vowed to protect a young friend, a decision that now looms over him. Kassim, the Immortal to whom he made that pledge, insists that MacLeod kill a brutal dictator in a small Middle Eastern nation. When MacLeod's refusal leads to the death of an innocent man and threatens Rachel's safety, he finds himself caught between his moral beliefs and the obligation of his promise.
