With Christmas approaching, Liz's parents abandon her for a couples-only getaway, leaving her to spend the holiday solo. In response, she chooses to volunteer for a charity initiative called "Letters to Santa." At the same time, Jack is lashing out at his team, upset that his ideal holiday plans have fallen apart.
