Episode Overview

Manny, a friend from Mexico, helps his sister Maria illegally enter the country. In return for Fred’s guidance, Maria offers to assist him. Meanwhile, Cal finds himself smitten with Maria. To make her more reliant on him, Cal sends her to fetch a cake, but the bakery gets swept up in an immigration raid. Determined to rescue her, Cal and Fred rush to the immigration office. Cal even proposes to Maria, but she turns him down. Ultimately, Maria is deported back to Mexico, leaving Cal heartbroken.
