Episode Overview

Fred is relaxing on his porch when a police chase erupts nearby, leading the criminals to drop a bag of gold that lands right on his lawn. Later, the crooks show up at his door, demanding the $65,000 in gold at gunpoint. Fred desperately invents excuses to fend them off, and just when he thinks he’s out of trouble, Cal walks in and plops down on the couch. He accidentally discovers the gold coins, prompting the crooks to shove Fred and Cal into a closet. Determined, Fred tries to escape and confront them, but they’ve already fled. Cal feels disheartened for not standing up to them, prompting Fred to devise plans to help Cal appear heroic.
