Overview
Blankety Blank, a beloved British comedy game show, debuted on BBC One on January 18, 1979, drawing inspiration from the Australian series Blankety Blanks. Originally hosted by Terry Wogan and later by Les Dawson, the show featured a lively celebrity panel that included personalities like Kenny Everett and Lorraine Chase. It aired until March 12, 1990. A revival, starring Lily Savage, aired from December 26, 1997, to December 28, 1999, before moving to ITV from January 7, 2001, to August 10, 2002, with production by both Grundy and Thames.
