Episode Overview

Frustrated with always being the tough parent and feeling undermined by Bill, Judy opts for a day off, allowing chaos to reign while Bill looks after the kids. To her surprise, she discovers that Bill is perfectly capable of managing them but just chooses not to. This realization leads Judy to embrace the role of the "good cop" for good. Bill, however, insists on being the eternal good cop, refusing to take on the bad cop persona. Stubbornly, they stick to their roles until one of them gives in. Meanwhile, Tina decides to get her bellybutton pierced, and they agree, while Brian pushes to drive, which Judy permits. Ultimately, she learns that Bill set her up, prompting them both to regain their senses and restore order in the house, though not immediately—allowing Brian to take on the bad cop role for a bit.
