Episode Overview

Bill and Linda choose to assist Lauren with her science project to demonstrate their support for her efforts, but they end up doing most of the work themselves. When they receive an A, Lauren's teacher promotes her to the advanced science class, leaving Lauren feeling anxious. Although Bill and Linda offer to continue helping, Lauren takes advantage of them, using their assistance while she heads to the mall to spend time with a boy. When her parents learn the truth about her deception, Lauren claims her newfound interest in science is due to her boyfriend's passion for the subject.
