Tina rushes to Judy, asking her to handle the “manly task” of getting rid of a spider, which makes Bill recognize that Judy is the one truly in charge of their household, taking on all the traditionally male roles. Determined to assert his masculinity, Bill sets out to fix Tina's broken dollhouse on his own. Meanwhile, Lauren finds herself confused as she receives mixed opinions on how to navigate her new relationship from Bill, Judy, and Linda.
