Episode Overview

Title: Criss-Cross Plot: Kathy Benson, a teenager on the run, takes refuge in an abandoned warehouse. When a group of men crashes in, she quickly contacts the authorities. As she escapes, Kathy spots the ringleader, Gregg Colby, a well-known community figure and ex-U.S. Senator. Unbeknownst to the police, he’s orchestrating a scheme to alleviate his financial woes by pilfering from his own property, pocketing the insurance money, and later peddling the “stolen” goods. To protect his secret, he feigns cooperation with the investigation, aiming to eliminate Kathy, the sole witness to his crime.
