When traveling psychologist Dr. Gretchen Trott (guest star Jane Krakowski) returns to town, Andy finds himself grappling with his romantic feelings for her. Meanwhile, Edna and Irv struggle to adapt after his recent heart attack scare. Harold and his wife Rose (guest star Merrilyn Gann) have a tense confrontation following couples therapy, where she claims he’s lost his affection for her. Additionally, Ephram decides to ask Laynie (guest star Nora Zehetner) out on a date, partly to demonstrate to Amy that he is moving forward in his life.
