Dr. Brown encounters a challenging ethical dilemma when a heartbroken pregnant teenager (guest star Kate Mara) and her father (guest star Kevin Tighe) seek his counsel on the option of ending her pregnancy. At the same time, Ephram experiences public embarrassment when his date for the Spring Formal abandons him at the dance to kiss her boyfriend. Meanwhile, tensions flare between Amy and Colin (Mike Erwin) after she decides to support Ephram, going against Colin's wishes, leading to a significant argument between the couple.
