Episode Overview
Ephram and Amy agree to attend prom as friends, but Amy struggles to confess her feelings for him when they encounter his ex-girlfriend Madison, making her aware of Ephram's lingering heartache. At the same time, Linda contemplates moving away from Everwood, while Andy's mentor, Dr. Donald Douglas, portrayed by Philip Baker Hall, challenges him to undertake a dangerous brain surgery on a patient who ends up being Dr. Douglas himself.
