The return of Dr. Linda Abbott (Marcia Cross, “Melrose Place”) shakes up the Abbott family, as she has been traveling the globe to study Eastern medicine. Edna, consumed by her pride, fails to recognize her daughter's solitude and neglects her own relationship with Irv. Linda faces the greatest pushback from her brother Harold when she reveals her intention to join his medical practice. Meanwhile, Andy discovers that some preteens might be engaging in risky sexual behavior, leaving him stunned by the parents' reactions. Finally, Bright asks Ephram to watch over Amy, whose strange actions are causing concern among everyone.
