Andy and Jake are enjoying a small gathering before their shift when a car suddenly slams into a lamppost nearby. The two doctors quickly realize that the driver is under the influence. Meanwhile, Harold encounters someone from Rose's cancer support group. Later, Jake visits the intoxicated driver in the hospital and has a meaningful conversation with him. Reid speaks with his academic advisor about his future. Amy takes Hannah to a restaurant, where she reconnects with some of her college friends.
