Episode Overview

Mike and Debi, a young and enthusiastic couple, move in next to Doug and Carrie. However, the Heffernans' initial encounter with their new neighbors isn't ideal, as a loud argument can be heard echoing through the neighborhood. Carrie feels insecure about her position as a legal secretary compared to Mike and Debi's professional careers, and she’s eager to impress them by hosting a dinner. Unfortunately, Doug sabotages her efforts. Meanwhile, Arthur seizes the opportunity to exploit Spence's subway job, insisting on complimentary rides.
