Episode Overview
Emma visits Ann Williams at her farm outside of town, where Ann is reluctant to sell, clinging to the memories of her late child. While Emma is there, Sam drops by, but she suddenly experiences severe stomach pain, realizing something is wrong with her pregnancy. George Baxter, who happens to be nearby, offers to take them to the hospital. Tragically, upon arriving in Coopers Crossing, Emma learns she has lost the baby. Though she tries to put on a brave face, a confrontation with Sam reveals her deep emotional turmoil. Meanwhile, Ann decides to sell the farm through an auction, determined not to let George buy it for a low price. Ultimately, the property is sold to Sam Patterson! Meanwhile, Geoff finally agrees to take a flight with Chris in her Tiger Moth, and despite his fears, he makes it back safely.
