Hunter (1984)

Episode Overview

While escorting a prisoner back to Los Angeles, Hunter and McCall make a brief stop in a quaint small town. They hand over their prisoner to the local Sheriff for safekeeping. That night, as a waitress from a nearby café delivers dinner to the inmate, she is suddenly attacked, coinciding with his cell being mysteriously opened. As the prisoner escapes, the town believes he’s responsible for the attack. However, Hunter and McCall suspect the Sheriff might be involved, only to discover he is the stepson of the town’s richest citizen.
