Hunter (1984)
S03E07 True Confessions
Episode Overview
In a disturbing case, Jeffrey Wyatt, Robert Kephart, and Philip Epperson become embroiled in the drugging and assault of Rhonda Burke, prompting an investigation by Hunter and McCall. Rhonda's devastated older sister is outraged when the trio is acquitted due to a technicality involving a missed Miranda warning during Wyatt's confession. While Hunter harbors doubts about Sheila's involvement, he empathizes with her anguish and suggests an insanity plea. McCall, convinced of Sheila's innocence, shifts her focus to David Kephart, the older brother of one victim, who stands to inherit a substantial fortune. As tensions escalate, Epperson and Kephart are murdered, leaving Wyatt uncertain about who to trust.
