Capek discloses to Nina that she and her twin brother Johan were created as part of a eugenics experiment aimed at producing "ideal children." Meanwhile, Tenma has injured Christof and is taking him and Eva to the hospital, pressing for information about Petr Capek. As Eva makes a call from a payphone, Tenma seizes the opportunity to slip away unnoticed.
