Episode Overview

On a Saturday night in Luton, Bedfordshire Police are responding to incidents involving intoxicated domestic disputes and a violent altercation fueled by alcohol. Police Constables Leanne Turner and Andy Parsons are dispatched to investigate a report of assault concerning a vulnerable 75-year-old man. The accused is his private caregiver, who has resided with him for seven years. Upon arrival, they find the shaken elderly man, who, despite having called for help, pleads with them not to take action and asks them to leave. Meanwhile, a Polish man is brought into custody after a drunken argument with his partner. Initially detained for a 'breach of the peace' to allow him to calm down, he chillingly hints to the custody sergeant that he plans to kill his wife the next day.
