Polaris' infant falls gravely ill, and the Inner Circle finds themselves powerless to heal her, leading them to seek assistance from an unforeseen ally. At the same time, Reed and Lauren embark on a journey to distribute illegal medication, but Reed's abilities throw a wrench into their plans. Meanwhile, Thunderbird and Blink encounter the leader of the Morlocks, a secretive group of underground mutants, who proposes to aid them in locating the Inner Circle. However, it becomes clear that their intentions might not align with each other’s.
