Episode Overview

Fitz is taken aback when he realizes that his union with Babs satisfies his hidden desire for maternal care. As he regresses into a child-like demeanor, Babs comes to the shocking realization that he craves a mother figure rather than a partner. Disturbed by this, Larry seeks Ali's assistance to end their relationship. However, when it becomes obvious that Ali harbors jealousy towards Babs, Fitz begins to see where his true feelings lie. He rushes to Ali, and they start a passionate encounter in her vehicle. But an accidental elbow sends the car rolling backward, tragically striking Babs and leading to her untimely death.
