The Living Planet (1984)

Episode Overview

While Micki and Ryan enjoy their vacation, Jack is haunted by nightmares from his World War II past, recalling his capture by the notorious Nazi commandant, Rausch, known as The Butcher. Rausch had a chilling method of execution using a garrotte made of barbed wire. Although Jack was rescued by his battalion back then, he now faces a grim reality: his surviving comrades are being murdered one by one with the same weapon. The culprit is an escaped Nazi, Mueller, who has resurrected Rausch using a mystical artifact, the Amulet of Thule. Disguised as a right-wing talk-show host named Walden, Rausch seeks vengeance on Jack and his friends. Jack must find the Amulet, even though it's not an antique, to defeat Rausch and put him to rest for good.
