Overview
Morfa Halen is a close-knit Welsh community, precariously situated between towering mountains and a rising sea that poses a constant threat. When a rare storm approaches, Jackie Ellis, a former detective now working as a teacher, finds the lifeless body of her 8-year-old student, Cefin, apparently drowned. This tragic event sends ripples of fear and sorrow through the town, reopening wounds from a three-year-old unsolved mystery: the vanishing of Jackie’s niece, Nessa, a case that destroyed Jackie’s career.
