Title: Are You the Criminal? / Absolutely! Plot: In her second year, Ariake-senpai seeks assistance from the Student Council after discovering a threatening note in her sports locker alongside her damaged spikes. Medaka quickly narrows down the suspect based on the note and the condition of the shoes, racing to the sports field to confront the culprit. Isahaya-senpai insists she had no involvement with Ariake's spikes or the message, and Medaka believes her, dropping the investigation. Overcome with guilt, Isahaya secretly replaces Ariake’s shoes with a new pair and leaves an apology note. Meanwhile, Zenkichi struggles with a task to find a lost puppy, only to discover it has grown into a large dog. Medaka lends a hand, but Shiranui realizes that, while Medaka adores animals, they don’t reciprocate, as the dog cowers behind Zenkichi instead of approaching her.
