Episode Overview

Freddie struggles with a creative block while tackling a writing assignment. Kim suggests she unwind at a party hosted by Dwayne and Ron to celebrate the last night of a beloved rib restaurant. Meanwhile, Whitley is determined to stick to her healthy eating plan but is lured by the delicious ribs. After getting tipsy, Freddie boasts about having found her "muse." When Walter ends the festivities, she sneaks some alcohol and later passes out in the library. The next day, she wakes up with a headache and realizes her drunken writing is dreadful. Walter embellishes his cooking skills to impress Jaleesa, leading Lettie and Mr. Gaines to step in and help him avoid a culinary catastrophe.
