Episode Overview
Ron receives a car from his father as a gesture of welcome into the family’s car dealership, but he has no interest in the business and dreams of being a professional drummer. Whitley cautions him against distancing himself from his dad, while Dwayne encourages him to chase his passion. When Ron attempts to communicate his intentions to his father, he struggles to be clear. Mr. Johnson arrives with a flashy sports car, only to be taken aback by Ron's aspirations. Meanwhile, Terrence grapples with his father's decision to become the first Black member of a country club. Col. Taylor rethinks his stance when he realizes the club must integrate to qualify for the PGA Championship, even as the membership head claims he has long tried to promote inclusivity. Col. Taylor, however, feels the time isn't right.
