Dwayne's close friend Zelmer drops by with shocking news: his Army Reserve unit is being deployed to the Persian Gulf. Ron vows to make Zelmer's last weekend before deployment memorable. Dwayne, troubled by Zelmer's nonchalant demeanor, wishes his friend would share his true feelings. Meanwhile, Ron annoys the girls by excluding them from Zelmer's farewell party. Undeterred, Whitley, Jaleesa, and Kim sneak in to perform a song. Freddie, against U.S. intervention, struggles to voice her concerns to Zelmer. Whitley comforts a distressed Dwayne, who fears for his own future. Zelmer confides in Col. Taylor, seeking guidance to stay resilient.
