Episode Overview
In this episode of HOT ROD Garage, we’re reviving our wild 401 AMC V-8 engine from a few years back by fitting it into a battered 1974 Javelin. We’ll pair the V-8 with a robust four-speed Super T-10 Transmission, long tube headers, and a host of other high-performance components. Our aim is to transform this setup into a tribute racer for the 1971 Trans Am. Once we get it up and running, we’ll hit the road racing course to assess how much work is still needed to perfect this classic ride.
