Episode Overview

Kenneth Trant, the fervent leader of a religious sect, is shocked to learn that his girlfriend, Joanna, has survived. His suspicion shifts to Dean, who he had relied on to get rid of her remains. As Joanna recovers in the hospital, Detective Sergeant Beck confronts Dean, managing to elicit a confession. Meanwhile, criminal psychologist Fitz seeks the real story. He convinces DCI Wise to visit Dean in his cell, but worries that they may have missed their chance to uncover the truth.
