Episode Overview

Dr. Kate Marshall (Dawn French), an exceptional surgeon, finds herself in a desperate situation when the widow of a deceased patient accuses her of malpractice. In a fit of rage, Kate intentionally runs the woman over with her car multiple times, believing she has silenced her forever. However, fate intervenes, and the woman survives, ending up at St. Theodore's as an emergency case. To make matters worse for Kate, the incident becomes a sensational topic on her popular television show, bringing her already troubled life into the public eye.
