Episode Overview
Kurama lies unconscious, taking a brutal beating from Baken. The announcer Koto attempts to intervene with a ten-count, but Baken disregards her and sends her flying out of the ring. Just as he prepares to deliver a fatal blow to Kurama, Risho, the team captain, orders him to stop. Unbeknownst to Baken, Yusuke had been ready to unleash his spirit gun at him if Kurama faced any danger. Kurama is then thrown from the ring, and Baken is declared the victor. Yusuke enters the ring to confront Baken, who uses a technique created from his sweat to envelop the arena in thick mist, obscuring visibility. Baken lands a few hits on Yusuke, but they do little damage. In response, Yusuke fires a spirit gun, clearing the mist away.
