Episode Overview

The King commands the Sheriff to gather grain from the Nottingham villages to support the troops in France. Aware that the villagers depend on their grain for winter survival, the outlaws stealthily reclaim it under the cover of night, leading to the Sheriff’s humiliation when the King's men arrive for collection the next morning. In a panic, the Sheriff shifts the blame to Gisburne, prompting him to flee, resulting in a bounty on his head. Seeking refuge, Gisburne heads to Grimstone Abbey, but finds no welcoming monks at the entrance.
