Episode Overview

In "The Cross of St. Ciricus," Robin Hood and his merry men save a gravely ill woman from bandits while she travels to the shrine of St. Ciricus at Croxden Abbey. In her weakened state, she reveals a shocking secret first to Tuck and then to Robin. Meanwhile, Gisburne, acting under the Sheriff’s orders, is also headed to the Abbey with the intent of stealing the revered cross. As Robin prepares to confront him, he realizes that the dynamics of their rivalry have shifted significantly.
