Episode Overview

Mike is disappointed when his daughters show little enthusiasm for Halloween festivities like they used to. He thinks his two-year-old grandson, Boyd, could be the ideal companion for trick-or-treating. However, Boyd's mother, Kristin, strongly opposes the idea of her son going out for Halloween. Undeterred, Mike sneaks Boyd out with the intention of returning him home before Kristin finishes work. Dressed as John Wayne from "The Green Berets," Mike arrives at Ed's house with Boyd, where they are welcomed at the door by Ed's partner, Elvira.
