Lambert learns that two brilliant brothers from the future have arrived in his time, prompting him to pose as a tech expert. In his investigation, he uncovers that the secretary of one brother witnessed her boss murder a government agent, but she remains tight-lipped about the details. As Lambert delves deeper, he realizes that he’s been brought in to breach a federal computer system to swipe a huge sum of money. Just as he's about to act, the brothers abduct the secretary's brother as leverage. Now, Lambert faces a dilemma: how can he apprehend them without putting the hostage in danger?
