Episode Overview
During World War II, a scientist joins forces with a businessman to create a Vitamin C-packed ration for soldiers, inadvertently paving the way for the invention of delicious frozen concentrated orange juice, enabling its mass distribution for the first time. Shortly thereafter, a fruit vendor innovates a flash pasteurization method for fresh orange juice, transforming the emerging industry. This sparks a competitive rivalry between the two companies as they vie for supremacy in the burgeoning market of orange juice products.
