Megan chooses to ground Rose after discovering her attempt to cheat on a history test, but enforcing this punishment proves challenging as Rose takes it to heart. Meanwhile, Laurel heads to Santa Barbara to reconnect with her former love, Miles Franklin, who ends up following her back to Florida. Charlie starts to have reservations about moving in with Mandy. In the kitchen, the family chef Marco welcomes Charlie's cousin, Louis, as a new sous chef, but tensions arise with the high-maintenance Sage. Additionally, Will works to salvage his relationship with Megan after his job plans take an unexpected turn.
