Episode Overview
Reba, acting as both mother-in-law and boss, urges Van to quit drinking and attend an AA meeting. Infuriated, he insists that Cheyenne reveal the truth to her parents. Cheyenne opts for help and attends an AA session, returning home exhilarated to announce her identity as an alcoholic. In support, Reba declares that no one in the family will drink in solidarity with Cheyenne. Meanwhile, Kyra's band is set to perform at a USO event for soldiers heading to Iraq. As the family secretly sneaks drinks, Cheyenne promotes her progress and reflects on her past. When Reba discovers Cheyenne with a glass of wine, Cheyenne admits that the past year has been unbearable and alcohol was her only relief. Reba comforts her, assuring her she is not alone, culminating in an emotional hug.
