Time Team (1994)

Episode Overview

During their visit to Shropshire from June 27 to 29, 1997, the team investigates a cluster of medieval structures in Aston Eyre, where the only surviving building is a farmhouse that once served as a gatehouse. They are accompanied by archaeologist Mark Horton and archivist Paul Stamper. Tree rings specialist Dan Miles attempts to date the beams in the gatehouse, while Ian Pritchett showcases a classic lime kiln. On the final day, they uncover evidence of a possible earlier structure, but they run out of time before they can identify it.
