Episode Overview
West and Gordon are tasked with accompanying the Sultan of Ramapur, who is bringing a sacred white elephant as a gift for the President. Their train is ambushed by bandits who steal the elephant, prompting the Sultan to demand a million dollars in compensation. West tracks the bandits to a gypsy camp, where he discovers the elephant has been painted grey to disguise it. Disguised as a peddler, Artie infiltrates the camp to help recover the elephant. They soon realize the elephant isn’t just disguised; it’s naturally grey and was falsely declared sacred by the Sultan, who intended to swindle the U.S. government. When confronted, the Sultan is deported, and the gypsies are allowed to keep the elephant.
