S01E17 A Winter's Nap
Episode Overview
On a chilly winter day, Bear dons his nightcap and plans to enjoy a cozy nap. However, his friends in the Big Blue House have different ideas. Ojo rushes to him, worried about her duck friends who have suddenly vanished from the Otter Pond. To soothe her, Bear makes her a warm cup of cocoa and explains the concept of migration. Treelo then beckons Bear outside to witness feathers fluttering from the sky, and Bear shares the joy of snow with him. Just as Bear is about to drift off, Pip and Pop wake him up, leading him outside where the kids have a delightful surprise ready. Meanwhile, Tutter, also struggling to nap due to the commotion, finds himself wide awake alongside Bear. In the Shadow segment, Shadow attempts to help Bear fall asleep by singing "Rockabye Baby."
